Master's Degree Level Initial Preparation
HISTORY
Began July 1, 1993.
MOTIVATION
To offer opportunities for non-education baccalaureate degree
holders to earn a master's degree in education, while at the
same time completing state certification requirements.

REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER PROGRAM
Determined by the IHE.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
These programs are individually designed by each IHE, and
meet state initial preparation program standards. Programs are
approved by the Professional Standards Commission.
NUMBER OF CREDIT HOURS TO COMPLETE
Programs are designed within a 60 quarter hour framework,
unless there are compelling reasons for a longer program.
