The Alternative Certification Program (ACP) is a University-based
program. A person holding a bachelor's degree can obtain a
teaching certificate while employed as a full-time teacher.
The Alternative Certification Program is designed for prospective
public school teachers with degrees in disciplines other than
education. The program offers a fast, efficient path to the
classroom as the teacher of record.
